Community News from the Garden Quarter of Chester

The Member of Parliament for the City of Chester called in at the Uniting Church in Garden Lane to support the monthly community coffee morning on Saturday 7 October.  The event was, as always, well supported by members of the church and the local and wider community.  Around £200 was raised which is to be donated to the charity, Chester Aid to the Homeless.  Robert Bissett, CEO of Chester Aid to the Homeless gave an update on the charity and said that he was very grateful for the tremendous support received from the faith groups and the community throughout the year.
