Community Coffee Morning at Garden Lane, Chester

The Community Coffee Morning at the Uniting Church in Garden Lane Chester on Saturday 5 July 2014 was held in support of the military charity Help for Heroes and raised £322.45.  The coffee morning was held during the Garden Quarter and Cambrian Community's 9-day festival to commemorate the sacrifice made by local people during Word War I and in conflicts since.  The event also featured the Community Mural painted by children from The Bishops' Bluecoat Primary School which was unveiled by the Lord Mayor of Chester Councillor Bob Rudd in the church where it will remain on permanent display.
