Community News from the Garden Quarter of Chester

The Community Coffee Morning held at the Uniting Church in Garden Lane on Saturday 3 August was once again very well supported and raised £236.00 which is being donated to Claire House Children's Hospice.

Wirral based, this ten bedded hospice provides care to children and young adults up to the age of 23, with life limiting and life threatening illnesses; palliative care and respite.  Also support of the whole family and counselling for as long as needed.

The members of the "Uniting Church" once again wish to particularly thank those members of the Garden Quarter and surrounding neighbourhoods who helped bake cakes for the coffee morning.  Also for the continuing support and immense generosity of the people in this local community and beyond.
