Hello to all youth leaders!
We're repeating the highly successful Chester and Stoke-on-Trent District youth event first held in 2010.
Click here for the poster which you can use to get youth groups interested.  You can start booking now, at the latest we'll need final numbers by a week before, i.e. 16 September.
 Age range
 • 11-18 (secondary school pupils)
 • groups from other denominations are welcome
 • all groups to be accompanied by a leader (if leaders want to lead activities, Oakhanger are prepared to run a training session by prior arrangement)

 • 2.00 - team activities commence
 • 4.30 - end of outdoor activity, warm showers available.
 • 5.00 - meet at Holmes Chapel Methodist Church (5 mins from Brereton)  for warm drinks, food and prizegiving.

 • all activities will be supervised by Oakhanger project volunteers
 • safety equipment will be provided  - e.g. lifejackets for canoes
 Insurance and parental consents
 • providing I receive names and ages of all outdoor activity participants, Oakhanger will include them in their membership insurance policy (copy available)
 • groups should arrange parental consents in the usual way - if you need one, let me know as Oakhanger are sending me one of theirs
 Directions and parking
 • on confirmation that you are attending, I'll provide a map with directions and parking
 • there is a good sized car park at the country park (a small charge approx £1)
 • the car park at Holmes Chapel Methodist Church is very small, but there are plenty of car parks in the village just 5 minutes walk away
What next?
By 16 September :- email me with the names and ages of those attending (including leaders) so we can include you in Oakhanger Project insurance cover, and forward a cheque for £5 per person attending to me at 45 Armistead Way, Cranage, Cheshire, CW4 8FE (payable to Holmes Chapel Methodist Church).
