Here's an update on the latest developments:

Over the last few months The Identity have continued on their musical journey performing in Llandudno, Hull, Warrington, Camelot Theme Park near Chorley for ‘The One Summer Knight’ youth event, at the Blacon Fun Day, along with a radio interview on a local community radio station.

Their CD was recently given an excellent review by ‘POWER PLAY’ magazine. This mainstream rock publication gave an excellent review which further affirms the progress the band has made over this last year and this external review is a real encouragement.

Here's the review for you to read:

“There's a myriad of influences on the EP that ranges from All Time Low and Blink 182 through to the anthem bothering U2 and 30 Seconds To Mars. The likes of "fight for your life" bristles with pop/punk energy, whilst "Save my soul" wouldn't have looked out of place on 30 Seconds "This is War" album. When they played "Sacrifice" live, it was a spiritual tour-de-force with it's church backdrop and professional lights. The studio version might not have the effects but it still gets its message across. One of Chester City's finest bands in a long while.”

Here are two more reviews:

“I’ve had nothing but good feedback from everyone I’ve spoken to who heard them. Musically they certainly hit the spot, but there were also several very positive comments about their character and attitude, both on and off stage.” Robin Gerrard, Development Worker (Church & Community) Scripture Union

"It was a privilege to work with The Identitiy at our monthly worship event. They're a great bunch of guys who take their faith seriously - incorporating worshipful lyrics and melody into the songs they write. They generated a great vibe in the after hours slot at the event and our young people were well into them as they Rocked Out for Jesus"! Ste Murphy, Director at Warrington YFC

We thank God for all the opportunities that are opening up for the band to share a message of hope.
Please pray for these young people.
